A look at the activities of the Pottery Festival


ROSEVILLE — The Crooksville-Roseville Pottery Festival will take place Thursday through Saturday in Roseville.

The festivities begin with the official opening and plate breaking/auction at noon on Thursday.

Here is an overview of some of the other activities:


  • Rides open at 2 p.m.
  • Pottery competition from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Queen contest at 6 p.m.
  • Pizza Eating Contest at 7:15 p.m.
  • Artista Rock School at 8 p.m.
  • Scorch School at 9 p.m.


  • Burley Clay Pottery tour, pie contest and rides open at 10 a.m.
  • Animal paws and claws encounters from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Burley Clay Pottery Tour at 12:30 p.m.
  • Performance by Joey Adams at 3 p.m.
  • Roseville Fire Department Extraction Demonstration, Dancing Divas and Pie Auction at 5 p.m.
  • Baby Beautiful contest at 6 p.m.
  • Barefoot McCoy 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Scorch School at 9 p.m.


  • 5K run, 8h
  • Burley Clay Pottery tour and rides open at 10 a.m.
  • Barefoot McCoy and skate park performers at noon
  • Helicopter flights from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting
  • Perry Morgan Pickers at 4 p.m.
  • Parade at 6 p.m.
  • Lock 17, 8 p.m.

Additionally, the Pottery Lover’s Reunion Show and Sale will be held July 13-16 at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 1101 Spring St., Zanesville. Merchants will settle in their hotel rooms and collectors will be able to shop from room to room.

The room and the sale-show will take place on all three days. A tour of the Zanesville Art Museum and social hour will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on July 15.
