CCCP Holds Virtual Spring Festival Activities

The China Cultural Center in Pakistan (CCCP) has held a series of online activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival.

Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is the biggest traditional holiday of Chinese people and an important holiday for family gathering and sharing fun.

From February 1, 2022, various online cultural events and activities have been uploaded to CCCP’s social media platforms.

Several live gala performances, video tours, photo exhibitions, online 3D experience tours and animation videos were uploaded on various cultural themes.

These various cultural activities include Tai Chi therapy video series, Chinese New Year Charm children’s animation short video broadcasts, Hebei’s special art performance “North of River, Brilliance of Hebei”, exhibitions of photos on “celebrate Chinese New Year with children around the world”. and “Celebrating the Spring Festival with Dragon Dance Performances”.

Other events posted on CCCP’s social media platforms include an interactive experience tour titled “Winter Tour to Xinjiang” and a series of videos on “Spring and the 24 Chinese Solar Terms.” A series of videos on “Dream Ice and Snow Tour” China Ice and Snow Tourism Overseas Promotion Season 2022 were also shared to introduce tourist attractions and ice and snow culture in seven provinces and cities in northern China. , namely Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.

Many other events celebrating Chinese New Year also include those hosted by various provinces and cities, such as Henan, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, to name a few.

Online cultural activities not only introduce Chinese New Year festivities around the world, but also portray the brilliance of traditional Chinese culture, promote tourism, and also send good wishes for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in China.
